In Work in Progress I am showing you the stages of the painting …. the first being randomly painted abstract brush strokes.
Then the figure or figures are outlined with charcoal. The background is then filled in with usually turquoise acrylic paint and the collage and other detail elements are added from magazines such as Mindfood, Vogue, Cuisine. There is an application of an art quality fixative and finally a layer of Golden Transparent sealer.
